Presentations: Hilton is currently booking visits for her latest book, Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog, and new book, Sparkles Goes to Boston. Thirty minute program includes children meeting a real fire safety dog, the reading of Hilton's children's fire safety book, singing fire safety songs and the administration of the Jr. Firefighter Oath, as well as a question and answer time. Dayna adapts her presentation to the age of the audience, so that the appropriate fire safety educational messages will be taught. If multiple classes are grouped together for a presentation, it is suggested that the students are close in age. Students will learn four valuable fire safety messages that will help keep them and their family fire safe.

Audiences: Typically, Firefighter Dayna and her fire safety dogs speak to K-1 audiences. In addition to schools, Hilton and Sparkles are open to other requests, such as libraries, safety events, fire department events and festivals. Presentations can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Testimonials:

"I am a kindergarten teacher whose class was able to Skype with Firefighter Dayna. One of my students brought her book to class. We were able to listen to Firefighter Dayna read the story as I showed the children the pictures. The students loved listening to an author read her story to them. We also had an question and answer session in which we discussed fire safety. Seeing Tango and Siren was so fun! The children were fascinated by the Skyping session and the students learned so much! Thanks to Firefighter Dayna, Tango, and Siren for combining literacy, technology, and fire safety into one unforgettable lesson." Amy Fonk, Kindergarten Teacher

"The second grade students at Crestview Elementary had the opportunity to do a Sype visit with author Dayna Hilton and Firefighter Jim. The students and teachers were so excited about the visit and were not dissappointed. Firefighter Dayna was enthusiastic about her book and teaching the students about fire safety. The students loved listening to Firefighter Dayna read her story. They were especially excited to be able to listen to Firefighter Jim introduce and read Ms. Hilton's newest book Sparkles goes to Boston. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity Firefighter Dayna, Tango and Siren." Dolores Bluntschly, Crestview Elementary

The students were able to interact with Dayna and to see Siren and Tango . They asked many thought-
